Amazing

This is absolutely the best sounding amp that I have ever used. I have all brands and types of amps since 1997. Rockford was my goto amp. I swapped out my Rockford T1000 for this amp and was completely blown away. My T1000 at 4ohms was making 900 watts. I’m running this at 2ohms and in theory 4ohms should sound better. However, even at 2ohms the E1000 is so much cleaner. I’ve already tried multiple sub setups and they are all clean with this amp.

Great Amp

This amp has great power in a small package. I'm using it in a 2019 Honda Accord and can not change the head unit so have to use high level inputs, since this Amp accepts both high and low inputs it gives allot of install options. I also like the auto sensing from the high level inputs so I didn't have to find a source for the remote connection.

D'AMORE in the basement

My home stereo is a Transcendent Sound Mini Beast tube amplifier outputting 3.5 Watts/ch RMS power into a pair of Klipschorns. I am also running a Transcendent Sound Fixer preamp. The sound is incredible, but the bass is lacking because the amp has no bass boost or loudness control. I got the idea to add a sub, so I used the bottom half of a Belle Klipsch speaker (Which has a 15 inch driver) to act as the bass and use a car amplifier and battery to power it. The first amp I got was a Blaupunkt AMP3000D, which was dirt cheap and had great specs. The amp works ok, but there was lots of noise at idle. I then thought it was the battery charger, so I got a filter, and there was still noise. It sounded ok, but if the gain was turned up half way there was a definate noise. Then I saw the review from BIG D about this amp, and checked out the specs and took into account the extra filtering used in the E series, so I pulled the trigger and got it.
At over 3X the price of the Blaupunkt it is light years ahead in performance, and it is dead quiet, just like the rest of my system. It has some punch. The system has incredible bass and I am super happy.
I hooked up my fluke true RMS meter on the output of the amp as well as my oscilliscope and was outputting 40 volts rms with a perfectly clean sine wave at 40 hz. Very cool. I probably should have put a load resistor in. I wonder if this test is at all worthwhile just using the meter's imput impedence?

As far a pricing, in Canadian funny money it was well over $600 including shipping and border costs etc. Well worth it.
